PURGE CHURCH is an experimental ritual space to channel and release suppressed GRIEF and RAGE. Guided by expert priestexxes, this original ritual space invites you to free yourself through the unfiltered expression of stuck, suppressed, "backed up" emotions in community witness and solidarity.

The event involves a conscious orientation and warm-up, followed by a dark, dank, damned dancefloor PORTAL, and ending in a gentle group integration circle.

Purge Church was crafted in response to escalating demands on our nervous system amid rising social/political unrest and environmental catastrophe. AND a serious lack of socially accepted spaces for collectively processing grief, rage, anger, and other emotions degraded as "negative."

Through the power of catharsis, creative expression, a loud dark dancefloor, and ceremony, we shed the stuck shit from our bodies hearts and spirits, and emerge feeling connected, cleansed, and more free.

This event is a collaboration of experienced facilitators and event designers C. Savery of Fractal Praxis, Piper Rose of Shadow Play Coaching, and Phannie Krentzmann of Radical Love Movement. Collectively offering more than two decades of experience in somatics, movement/dance, ritual space/performance art, workshop design, and group facilitation.
